Is it really free?
The software is. Data costs money, so you pay for the data you use, and nothing else: no subscription, no seats, no plan to upgrade. Every account gets one project and $1 of data on us every month.
How does pricing work?
You add balance in dollars, from $5. Each action is paid from it at the price shown on its button, before you click. No subscription: when you stop using it, you stop paying.
Does my balance expire?
No. What you top up stays until you use it. The free $1 works separately: it's topped back up to $1 every month (unused free data doesn't roll over), and it's always spent first.
What happens when my balance runs out?
Nothing is charged and nothing is lost. Scheduled checks pause, we let you know, and they pick up again as soon as you top up. Your history stays.
Is the data as good as the expensive tools?
It comes from the same enterprise SERP and backlink providers they get their data from: live SERP results, the same backlink index, the same keyword volumes. You don't have to take our word for it. Add a handful of your keywords on the free plan and compare.
How can you show rankings from before I signed up?
The data provider keeps monthly snapshots of the search results. When you add a keyword, PeekRank pulls its last 12 months from that archive (and 24 months for your domain), for a few cents. From then on, it checks every week on its own.
Is AI tracking included?
It's coming soon: whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude mention your brand, and what they say. It isn't live yet. When it ships it's included like every other tool: you only pay for the data it uses.
